Another lovely start to
the day but cloud slowly built up and the SE wind slowly increased to become
cold and windy by the evening; the nets were once again quiet in the morning as
I just managed single Blackcap and Chiffchaff.
I pretty much didn’t see anything else through the day with the obvious
exception of an immature White-tailed Eagle which flew up the west
coast past the Obs, it apparently landed on Torness briefly before flying off
high back to the south out to sea (I saw it from the Obs and then again from
the airfield as it flew south again).
