Overcast with a brisk SE wind but the middle census route
was quiet with (as befitting the season) hardly any migrants; 2 Swifts were
overhead while waders included 32 Knot, 2 Golden Plover and 26 Dunlin at
Westness where there was also a flying juvenile Redshank and 9 juvenile
Black-headed Gulls.
This Dunlin was displaying in Gue Park but I think he was just a lone male without a mate
