NORTH RONALDSAY - 13th June

Overcast with a few spots of rain through the morning but the afternoon brightened into a warm and sunny second half of the day; birds around the Hooking census route in the morning included 8 Sand Martins and a House Martin over Hooking and 21 Bar-tailed Godwits and 20 Sanderling on The Links.   The Black-throated Diver and a Great-northern Diver were in Nouster along with 2 Collared Doves.
