A nice day, warm, with a decreasing westerly breeze; not
much to mention though, a few hours in the west coast census route in the
morning just saw a Dunlin acting suspiciously in Gue Park but I think he was
just a lone male without a mate. Went back
into Hooking in the afternoon where we got some more Black-headed Gull chicks
and best of all, a smart two thirds grown Shoveler chick – a smart ringing
tick!
