A misty, murky start to
the day which cleared by late morning to leave a pleasant, calm rest of the
day; the misty drizzle failed to produce anything in the nets although the
first Marsh Harrier of the spring
flew through and there was again a trickle of 200+ Oystercatchers and a few Greylag
Geese heading north along with a Black-throated Diver.
The area was pretty quiet with just a single
Wheatear, 3 Red-necked Grebes offshore and a few displaying Siskins and Lesser
Redpolls seemingly back taking up residence in the woods; the White-billed Diver was off Vågsvollvika
in the afternoon.
Raven shouting at something (maybe me!)
Wheatear
