A
gorgeous day, sunny and warm (after the first hour anyway!) but there was
little of note; the White-billed Diver
was again on the calm sea where 80 Oystercatchers and 400+ Greylag Geese
(although most were inland over the hills) went north. A Snow Bunting and a Redpoll sp. (probably a
Mealy) also went north through the morning.
It was still ridiculously quiet throughout the area with a Wheatear out
in Ogmundsrøysa and a distant soaring White-tailed
Eagle the only birds of note.
Not sure how this Hoodie got the fish but the Herring Gull certainly wanted it! (it did in the end!)
