A calm morning but
unfortunately it rained all the way through to just after lunch so the only
birds included a Tystie and a Goosander offshore, the drake Garganey still and a Great-northern
Diver. The sun came out early afternoon
but as soon as it did the wind rapidly picked up to a force 7 north-westerly
but birds around the coast included the first 3 Ring Ouzels of the year out on Skarvodden, an increase to 34+ White
Wagtails, 12 Wheatears, a Swallow, a Peregrine and an increased 38 Shelduck
while there was a group of 4 Twite on a recently ploughed field on Gunnarsmyra.
In the evening sun there were another two Swallows
and a female Marsh Harrier out across the fields.
