NORTH RONALDSAY - 7th April

A much better day with lighter winds and plenty of sunshine but the Bridesness section was rather quiet as birds included 7 Redwings, 3 Wheatears, single Great-northern and Red-throated Divers, 8 Long-tailed Ducks, 4 Sandwich Terns displaying in Nouster, 9 Red-breasted Mergansers and the Pink-footed Goose with the Greylags.

I caught a female Brambling at the Obs with the Green-winged Teal still on Gretchen in the afternoon and the Kingfisher still in ditches around Hooking in the evening.
