Still grey and still chilly with a still cutting NNE breeze; a good total of at least 6 Black Redstarts (five by the cottage and the singing fort bird still which found its way into a mist-net) were the only migrants present in any kind of numbers.
The few other birds seen though the day comprised a Chiffchaff, a single Long-tailed Tit caught, 2 Robins, a Goldfinch and 3 Gannets feeding offshore late afternoon.
