A calm start with a brisk
southerly breeze picking up through the day, nets were quiet first thing before
a walk up the west coast produced a group of 5 Kestrels together on Torness, a
Merlin, a small, juvenile male Peregrine, 160+ Meadow Pipits up the coast, 15
Wheatears and a Garden Warbler and 2 Willow Warbler round the Obs beforehand.A smart Common Rosefinchwas around the traps late
afternoon.
