A quiet day with a blazing westerly wind and some nasty
showers whipping through; the Northern Harrier was
around the Obs in the morning but the C census route was largely uneventful
with no evidence of any new migrants (not really surprising given the wind!) as
birds included the drake Smew again
on Hooking, 24 Long-tailed Ducks, 4 Red-throated Diver and a ringtail Hen
Harrier near Sangar.
Whooper Swan
Curlew
Purple Sandpipers and Seals
