Rain
through the morning cancelled the days ringing session but a good long time
spent birding around the reserve produced some good totals including 28 Greenshank, 62 Wood
Sandpipers, 2 Dunlin, 23 Ruff, 4 Curlew, my first Common Sandpiper for
Kvismaren, 3 Green Sandpipers, 5 Spotted Redshank, the 3 Great White Egrets,
increases to 19 Goldeneye and 33 Tufted Duck and my first Swedish Moorhen – I
knew they existed here!
