Overcast
with a moderate westerly breeze, I had a seawatch first thing which again
produced good numbers of birds with 63 Manx Shearwaters, 4 Sooty Shearwaters, 7
Storm Petrels, a Red-throated Diver, a group of 5 Common Scoter and a massive 2,831 Puffins past in two hours. The
only other bird of note through the day was an adult Black-throated Diver which flew past the Beacon
as we were checking nests.
Beautiful Golden Y
Burnished Brass
Colour variation in Arctic Tern eggs
Hooded Crow (one of the Holland fledglings in the crow trap)
