NORTH RONALDSAY - 11th August
A
rough, windy day with a strong, cold NNW wind raking the island; it was tough
going in the field but birds seen did include 87 Knot (the majority being
juveniles), 4 Ruff, 12 Black-tailed Godwit, a Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpipers, a
juvenile Lesser Black-backed Gull (the first one for a while) and a Woodpigeon.
