Popped
into Venus Pool on my way through at lunchtime, it was very blowy and rainy so
there wasn’t too much of note with 45 Shoveler, 10 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, c40
Snipe and 146 Lapwing on the pools and a busy feeding station producing 2
Great-spotted Woodpeckers, 2 Nuthatches, high numbers of Chaffinches and some
Lesser Redpolls overhead.
