NORTH RONALDSAY - 3rd March
A
glorious day, sunny with light winds but still a bit chilly but the north of
the island was pretty quiet albeit very pleasant with Twite, Wrens and
Starlings very obvious in full song.
Other birds included the drake Smew
still along with 7 Goldeneye, 6 Shoveler and 4 Gadwall while 115+ Eiders flew
past the seawatch hide, presumably just going to feed in the bay.
