NORTH RONALDSAY - 15th March

Still breezy but a much better day than yesterday with the highlights around the C census route including the Northern Harrier near Holland, 2 Peregrines (an adult male at the Obs and an immature male at Hooking) and a ringtail Hen Harrier at Hooking; other birds of note comprised 2 Snow Buntings, 3 Whooper Swans, 170+ Black-headed Gulls, an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull on The Links, 36 Sanderling and the 3 Woodpigeons still at Holland.
