Drove across France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany
and Denmark to get back up to Lista for the spring season! Didn’t see that much as I only had a few
stops; the highlight being excellent views of a couple of Hawfinches feeding on fallen Beech-mast in a random wood in the
middle of Denmark while on the north coast of Denmark as I was waiting for the
ferry over to Norway there seemed to be a bit of early spring passage with a
few flocks of Siskins and Greenfinches moving along the shore with one or two
Skylarks also probably moving – not that surprising as it was a stunning,
sunny, calm, warmish day!
