A nice little walk around the fields and lanes to the east of Farnsfield (Rik’s house) first thing produced the highlight of a Merlin which flew west across the fields along with 2 Red Kites, a Raven, a few Redwing flocks whizzing around, 3 Redpolls, 2 Siskins and 5+ Yellowhammers.
