Calm and sunny first thing but it clouded over for a few hours before settling back into bright and sunny with a light westerly breeze; birds through the morning included some more new Blackbirds, 3 Chaffinches, a Fieldfare, 2 Goldcrest, 4 Goldfinches, 11 Meadow Pipits coming in off and heading north, a Redwing, a Reed Bunting, a Robin, a Rook south, a Siskin, a Skylark and a Stock Dove with a little southerly passage of 159 Woodpigeons first thing.
Chiffchaff, complete with 'pollen horns', acquired when foraging amongst Eucalyptus flowers in the Mediterranean
