NORTH RONALDSAY - 4th August

Overcast and breezy and a seawatch mid-morning produced 6 Manx Shearwaters, 126 Puffins and little tight flocks of Arctic Terns passing through while there was a group of 8 Arctic Skuas roosting on the grass at the top of Bewan.   There was then little in the Obs census route although 890 Golden Plover was the highest count so far this year and the Goldcrest was still in Holland.
