Lapwing ring

A few posts ago I put up pictures of a Lapwing from Venus Pool with a ring, well I partially read the number from the photos (all but one digit) and the BTO came through and found the bird in question!   It was ringed as a chick at Sealand Manor in Flintshire, North Wales on 1st May 2003, 65Km to the NNW of Venus Pool.
   Not a bad age but at 13 years old it has a way to go to reach the longevity record for a lapwing of just over 21!
