Spent the day higher up in
the forests the other side of Pangot but it was a pretty quiet day as we only
connected with a few mixed species flocks which contained new birds including
really smart RUFOUS-BELLIED
WOODPECKERS, ASHY-THROATED WARBLERS, dull looking YELLOW-BROWED TITS,
SPOT-WINGED TITS (really smart and different looking melanolophus race Coal Tits) and a
distant HIMALAYAN
BUZZARD.
We then went back to Jungle Lore camp in Pangot to
get some gen for tomorrow where we added PINK-BROWED ROSEFINCH and
RED-BREASTED
PARAKEET in the grounds while a close
Indian Black Eagle cruised over.
